Lamborghini doors that open vertically. technically I think after market lambo doors open directly vertical whereas genuine lambo doors (or Enzo Ferrari's)come out horizontally a bit then rise up vertically. Kleemann lambo doors on SL are more like genuine lambo doors.

Very nice I like the car and the look. I'm in the Tampa bay area (Clearwater to be exact) and am also interested in Lambo doors. I have seen a couple of cars with these doors on www.mbslk.de but this is the first I heard of a 2005 SLK with Lambo doors in the states. I understand that you got these doors done in Miami are there any good places here in or near Orlando, how good would you rate the job they did. I checked out lsd-doors.de and they charge more then the quote you gave for just the brackets, then you have to get a body shop to install them which all comes out to a lot of money. I think for the price quote you gave us they probably use universal brackets.

go to berjiamautocreations.com and locate the number to the store....and the owner can tell you how much it is, it cost me about 2500, and the bracket is customed to your car.... from experience i have no complaints about thw work....if your looking for doors and a reasonable price and very good quality in parts and work than berjiam auto in miami is the place to go.

Lambos
Nice Custom SLK!
I was curious about your Lambo doors...
Do they open out and then slide up, or are they the kind that open up and to the side in one diagonal movement?
If I wanted to buy the kit from the same place you did, is it possible to purchase all of the hardware and have it shipped to me... and have a local person install it... or is it so custom that it has to be installed in FL?
Please let me know as I am very interested...

Cost on Install of Lambo doors
What was the cost on the install of the lambo doors? Where did you get the parts who manufactured them? send me a link if you get the time. The car looks great, do you have exhaust yet? if not get the eisemann sport exhaust system put in. They sound awesome

...Not To Get Off Topic But...
Silver SLK350,
Why do you recommend Sport over the Race version of the exhaust...?
Is it not out yet?
I only ask since the sound and performance of the race seem much better then the sport.

BenzoAMGpower,
Do you know of a distributor in the US?
I'm doing my best to find a great sounding/performance exhaust for my SLK350...
I'm very interested in a purchase...
Thanks!

All the work is impressive. I worked in 12V electronics for years, and I have to tell you that i'm impressed that you went the extra mile to rip out that damned fiber-optic audio system and go your own way...
The only question I have, and maybe it's a dumb one... i'm not sure... is why would you go to all that trouble with nitrous and NOT buy a manual transmission? If I understand things correctly, manuals make nitrous much easier to work with... not to mention that they're a shade faster than the auto anyway...
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say you did the wrong thing. You obviously know more about tuning than I do... I'm just curious as to the logic behind the decision...
