Hood Alignment
Any one seen this problem? When I look at the hood from the side (right around the star emblem on the nose) it appears that the top portion of the hood sticks out about 3/8 of an inch. Is this normal? 2005 SLK350 now about 2 weeks old...

Hood Alignment
I have the same alignment as you...
I recognized this when I first got my car a few months ago... I figured it was "supposed to be that way" and that the aerodynamics ment for this to work this way... ???

SLK 55 AMG
I think it's built that way... And it needs some space between the bumper and hood or the two would touch when you slam the hood down. I also have it like that on my 55.
If it was aligned further back, the headlights would have spaces above them.
