Build Sheet

My dealer bought back my troublesome 2005, I got one now with manual, comfort & entertainment packs which I did not have before. The last one had the build sheet showing the option #'s & brand of tire. This one I cannot locate the sheet anywhere. Could it be hidden somewhere. Also this one came with Pirelli P-Zeros wher my other had Michelin Primacy, which is considered the better tire?

Congrats... that's the way it should be. If they can't fix it, they should be obligated to buy it back..

Now redvette's MB dealer needs to buy his back, then I think ppl will feel alot better about purchasing a MB.

I didnt have the Michelins, but did have the Continentals. They were just okay. I have since upgraded my wheels to 18" and went with Pzero Neros. They work awesome and I never hear them squeal. In fact, I am worried that I might crash just because the tires give no audible indication that they're under strain. Maybe I'll just corner harder

How about the build sheet, was yours with the paperwork, or was it hidden somewhere.

Got a call today from MBUSA about the build (data) sheet, they say that the dealer is supposed to keep them & not give them out to customers.

Are you getting the same color???

My car's build sheet is in my owner's manual. Together with the service warranty booklet.

Pirelli PZero is "supposed" to be much better than the Primacy. But I have some interesting findings: my car comes with Primacy and I hated it, it is so slippery under wet condition. Just changed another set of wheels and they come with PZero, I am very surprised that the PZero has "less than my expectation" traction in the dry. On wet it is much better than Primacy, but in dry, my car fish-tailed at least 3 times in the past week.

I am going to change the tires to PS2 when I am getting new wheels in a couple of months (havent tried it before, but it is supposed to be the best tire in the market right now).

Had Blackow Red. MBUSA says I am not supposed to get the buid sheet, I think they are full of it. What happened I think is that it was a double dealer trade. Originally dealler shipped to another who shipped to mine & the paper work was lost in the shuffle.

I have PS2 on my BMW 330Ci and I quite like them, but they seem rather fussy about tire pressure.

I don't think I got my build sheet either... Why is it important to you to have it?
