Be careful

Just wanted to give you all heads up. I cracked the area below my front fender on a curb. This curb was not that high so the fender is deceptively much lower than it appears. Give yourselves plenty of distance.

Do you have sports suspension or the AMG package? Just curious, as I am ordering soon and have heard the SLK350 is clearance-challenged with either setting.

I don't have the AMG pakage so by default I must have the sport suspension.

The sport suspension option in the 2005 model was a $200 extra, that included stiffer springs and was about 3/8" lower than the regular suspension. (Not sure of the exact measurement, but it was quite small.) That option was included in the AMG sport package. For 2006, the sport suspension, as a separate option, has been discontinued. It is only available with the AMG package.
