SLK/R171: Xenon upgrade from halogen, where to reset the "Xenon-present" code?

Xenon upgrade from halogen, where to reset the "Xenon-present" code?
Like it says in the title. I'm upgrading my stock halogens to a 8000K HID kit, and I've heard that you have to go to someone with StarDiag to set the Xenon-present code. Do you know any dealers or shops that will do this in the Southern California area?

p.s. Some dealers are a pain with this. I got a lot of crap from 2 stealers when I wanted mine done awhile back.

Man, I'm out of the country in HK the time Steve's gonna be here. And he's charging $100 for it. Anyone else have any hookups in LA?

Nobody knows anybody in LA? Seriously. I don't mind paying I just need to get it done. Freddy I might have to make a trip up north then.
So what does happen if I don't reset the code. The lights just don't work, I get annoying beeps, what?

the hids will work and turn on when you unlock the doors but once u start the car the lights will not work.
let me know if you are gonna come up, but im sure i can ask my buddy at mb if he knows anyone in so cal that will do it for you.

I don't have a NorCal trip planned as of yet, but yeah that would be awesome if you could see if anybody down here would do it. Thanks!
