Pewter interior, never seen it, no comment but that would be too uniform. Pewter interior and pewter exterior, doesn't sound like a nice combo.

Heh heh so what are you saying ... iridium silver SLK's look like puke?
Btw ... Veroomer ... car isn't going to be here until Oct ... you still have time to change your order right? chuckle I'm sure the pewter SLK55 looks better than it did in that picture.

i have pewter slk55 over black leather. i love the combination. my first choice was black over black/ash, but couldn't live with the maintenance, charcoal over black was second choice, but couldn't justify designo at $8000.... pewter was 3rd choice, and i could drive it away immediately. it had just arrived at the dealer the 4th day when i saw it...

SLK 350 [AMG, Premium, Comfort, COMMAND Navi, Entertaintment, Heating, Wood trim]
New 400 hp M3 ---> would change SLK?
I would...
The new M3 looks wicked, I havent decide should I change my SLK350 to M3..?
The new M3 definitely will cost much much expensive, currently it cost US$63000++ average. The new one, I estimate will cost US$75000++ .
I just love SLK so much, the hard-top convertible feeling is priceless..

I tried the 350 with manual and almost went for one but then tried the new Boxster S and found it offered the enjoyment and handling that I wanted. In a straight line the AMG will always walk away from me but in the twisties where I get most of my kicks the Boxster S is better IHMO.
hi, i would like to purchase the slk55. but it would be nice to have a loan car b4 purchasing it.. how do i get a hold of a loaner? thanks

I work for a big oil company in the UK which makes getting loan cars much easier...... our company car setup guarentees at least a 24 hour loan but I usually ask for longer..... sometimes that ends up being a weekend but sometimes even better eg. I had an SL500 for two weeks so we went on a driving holiday with it!

Cigars all around...
My baby has arrived. 2007 SLK55 AMG
Pewter / Beige
P3: Premium III
319 Lighting Package*
Airscarf
Digital Climate Control*
6-Disc CD Changer*
iPod Integration kit*
*Requested after contract order and recieved them at no added cost. CD changer was not ordered but when car came in it was there. Freebie.
I do miss the stick...but give me sometime...this car is one fine piece of engineering.
It's now cold here on Long Island, the heated seats and airscarf are the way to go no question about it.
And I am happy with color combo...car looks more classy with a lighter interior. Just going to be a pain to keep clean.
More pics to come.
Thanks guys for all you help. (Ynot, -1-, SLK55R, dsb...)

SLK55///AMG The MONSTER on the block
BEAUTIFUL SLK, excellent options. Even though I prefer a 6MT, chances are good I'll follow your lead with a 2008. Ya done good, enjoy!

Do not regret about stick. BMW Z4M has no auto so it harms sales badly. They can't sell cars even $15K off MSRP. Sale price for fully equipped Z4MC is around $43K now. Poor BMW.

BMW are retards, instead of putting the e46 M3 engine on an out of date body styling of the Z4, they should had introduced a new model with that engine. They couldn't sell the Z4 3.0, I've seen ones for fully loaded ones for $14K off MSRP a couple of years ago, what makes them think they can do better with an new engine. I guess it's good for those who wants a Z4.
