wow, she got a great deal, I remember they were very expensive, sure the parts dept didn't make a mistake, $150 for two hood vents and aerowings is not the norm at MB dealers.

Does anyone know how and where to remove the vent so I can install the hood fins, because my instructions came in german and I don't speak german.

I was wondering if it worked like this,

open hood, use allen key, open the vent cover, unplug washing tube thing...?? am i close?

Im installing the wings as we speak. I just installed one half (right side, driver side AUS), which was a ***** to install. I had to take off some kind of box or something...its so annoying...but the left side air vent doesnt seem to have any box cover... I should of done that one first.

ps my digital camera doesnt have a flash and its getting dark here...my garage light was not strong enough for the pic... ill get a few in the morning.

Yes it is, but unfortunately minutes ago I just lost one screw inside the engine bay somewhere and i dont have a torch to see it,.. agh ****...oh well one screw is in my engine bay....but it was pretty easy. just gotta be patient and getting the right distance between the fins. I just saw the installation method of the "formymercedes.com" one..thats so turd.

I'd rather get my own from the ebay.de site or get the piecha.

When you screw it on, its pretty hard to move it now.plus the rubber inserts are nice protection ...

Very nice and easy to install, best thing is no screws (or fear of losing them). Not even a need to pop open the bonnet.

Highly recommended. Get the chrome one if you can....
