* Before I bought my car, I had a huge dillema on buying full option 350 with AMG OR a BRABUS 350 (With Full BodyKit + Premium + Comfort + BRABUS ROLLOVER + Mono VI)

* Finally I decided to go for the 350 full option, because it feels more authentic and look cleaner than a BRABUS 350. (Just my opinion. Personally Brabus tuning for SLK doesn't "wow" me, just the BRABUS expensive feeling.)

* Another thing is, most girls doesnt really know what BRABUS is (90%, just my opinion), they just know MERCEDES-BENZ OHhhh WOW "He drives a sports MERCEDES!!, with a top down!!". So, I follow my heart and choose 350 full option, rather than just to follow trend and tune my car to BRABUS..

IF I were to buy 55 amg, I am 100% sure after riding my 55 amg, I couldn't compare its power to 350, and so I would become unsatisfied, and after some time I would feel as like having some entertainment and "colors" to the interior of the car.

o well it's never enough. right now i feel like more power than a 350 hehehe I wanna ride a 55.

I was just like you when i purchase my SLK350. I was gonna either go full 350 option or slk350 with a body kit or the slk55 cause it's only a few thousands more in Canada, but because we were considering the insurance cost of the slk55 that's why I went for the SLK350 now with carlsson's body kit.
I always thought the 350 is enough power when I purchased it cause I was only concern about the look so a slk350 or a slk55 would make no difference, but after reading so many ppl's feedback on this forum, I feel like the slk350 is not enough power and I am really really regreting on not getting the slk55 but it's all too late now, I already spent quite alot of money on the slk350 i have right now which almost already make up the price difference b/w the slk55 and the slk350.
I actually wouldn't mind to trade my 350 for a used 55 right now but I would feel a waste of money spent there.

 

I think you spent to much time reading Ynots posts raving about the virtues of a V6 and MT. The V8 always wins , I made the same mistake as you. Do the right thing and get a 55, the 350 is just for hairdressers....

 

Well hehehe 55 is always better than 350. But any SLK will do for me, any additional option would be a plus. I love SLK so much!!!

I guess that Easy SLK will say the same thing about the AMG 55 after he gets an SLK AMG 63. I don't find any pleassure in knocking down other peoples' choice just to boost my own ego.

 

Do you have a picture of your SLK with the carlsson kit? Who installed it and what did it cost?

I am thinking about ording the kit from Dronellis.

And like I have mentioned earlier, I wont b easily heated up by some jackass who called me a fu*ckwit liar, and therefore I have to desperately show him that I own an slk.
