Interior Odor
Anyone have a strange odor inside car. I notice it more when top is down and car has been sitting in the sun. I've always noticed a slight smell when opening the doors but I just thought it was the leather seats. I really notice it when driving top down. I guess the wind is circulating it around the cabin. It's not coming from the AC. I'm thinking it's the material in the dash,console.

Hi! May I ask how long you have owned the car? Can you describe the smell? Rotten eggs smell perhaps?

2006 SLK280.
rotten eggs would be the sulphur from your catalytic convertor.
no never noticed an odd odour before, bar rubber lol.
