ahhh, so today it was raining really hard here in new york, i was driving my range rover and saw a big puddle of water, thought it wuld be cool to run over it since the road was totally empty. little did i know, the puddle was a lot deeper than i thought, went about 40mph and hit into the puddle , lost control, however no accidents or anything messed up with car. the problem is the police gave me a summon for reckless driving, i must show up at court. anyone know if this is considered a very big deal?? im hoping that its just going to be a fine and i pay it and im off. anyone know if they will suspend my license or wahtsoever? this is the first time i ever got pulled over by police.

I don't know where you live but in Illinois it would be a VERY BIG DEAL. Here, negligent driving is a lot less serious than wreckless. If you are convicted of wreckless, you'll be walking for a long time.
