guys!
I own a 1997 slk230 and my friend has just bought a new 2006 bmw 320i coupe would I be threaten by him or not? what car would you guys choose between the two? tnx in advance..

I'm loyal to the SLK, but you're talking about two cars nine years apart. With that in mind, I'd take the newer car.

i think obvious choice is newer car, but if it is terms of speed..i think you would have him.

tnx guys but one last question guys...given that the two cars are well maintained even if the other one is newer which of the two will you choose in terms of looks and appeal?

I've never found the older slk appealing, looks to small and square for my taste, I like my cars like I like woman, with some curves. So my choice stays the same, I think you will get a better response if you post this on the r170 section, if you haven't already.

I have to agree with Ynot...320i is much more appealing (sexier) to me. But not against the R171...its got looks and power.

mercedes-benz still rocks!
nah...guess what guys now I observed that everywhere you go there's a 320i here in the philippines so the car became very common and I don't know someone told me here that when u see the car that often on the road it affects the overall appeal, and here a sports car is still a sports car anyways tnx for the advice peace out guys!: benz still rocks!
