Here are some sample pics,
Sorry I didn't have time to wash my car.
I'm a Tar Heel alumni and fan, so I couldn't resist.
Hopefully UNC basketball will go all the way this year.
(I got it from www.vanitywindscreen.com
ask for Rob, awesome guy)

congratulations!
it looks very nice...i was just thinking, I see it doesnt touch the roll bars, does it? does this mean that some air is still coming into the cabin? also, when the road is rough etc is its moving/vibrating at all or is it 100% stable?

Ynot, you know ur my hero. If u approve...that's all that matters.
TerisGR, I'm still finishing the installation, and there's bad weather here.
I'll let u know the difference (noise/wind) between factory screen and this one. Yeah there is a gap, but in past threads, I haven't heard any complaints with this design. Everyone who got it, recommends it.
And generic is much cheaper than brand.

i would throw a piece of black insulation tape or something around the edges, at least the top... i don't like how the light shines through, but it still looks hot...

Compared to the mesh screen, the noise and wind are noticably worse b/c
there are plenty of gaps.
Let's say no screen = 100% noise/wind
mesh = 5% noise/wind
my new screen = 25% noise/wind
The new screen is stable and sturdy.
The website is windrestrictor.com (i gave you his old web address)
He did mention creating a new blocker to cover all the gaps...not sure
when that will come out.
I will try that black tape. Good idea.
Thanks

This is why many of us opted for the more expensive genuine M/B wind blocker. It has no gaps between it and the roll bars and has fine mesh inside the roll bar hoops. I get nearly Zero wind from the rear.

My screen is ok for now, got a great deal on it
I'm tryin to save up $$ for some nice rims.

Just had my windscreen installed. Have been very happy with the visibility as compared to the mesh. This was from windrestrictor@aol. Robert was a pleasure to deal with and the screen got to little old Adelaide, Australia quickly and in perfect condition.

2005 SLK350 Black on Black
Hey guys - how is the vision thru the glass when it is lit up?? I am thinking of getting the wife one of these for Christmas but am debating on whether or not to get one that lights up.

When driving I have not found it to be a problem to see thru it when lit. When reversing I have found it a little distracting, but I have had a switch installed to turn it off as desired. The black mesh that came with my car was much more of a visual impediment.

Driving visibility from behind is still good (not much of a difference).
I also have a switch that was installed perfectly at driver side.
Lighting can be connected to your car fuse box, but I have a battery pack. Absolutely no wires are showing. I will post pics.
