Anyone get this odd letter for service?
Anyone have any problems with their engine software?

2005 SLK350, 2006 ML350, 2006 CL500

Service Campaign 2006-110002

I also received that letter last week. Unfortunately I have to take two cars back for the warranty service -- 2005 Slk350 and 2006 E500 4Matic.

At the same time my wife's 2006 ML350 is out of service waiting for some replacement parts for the SRS system.

So much for MB quality improvements.

Also got mine yesterday. Since I live in Florida where it gets very cold I think I will wait until my next servive 'A' at 30000. I really do not want to experience a 'check engine light' like SiLK did.

Just had mine done today. I'll let you know if anything seems different. Although I never noticed anything off at all in the first place.

Service Campaign 2006-110002

Had my done yesterday.so far no noticable difference. Was not a problem before either but then I only have 3000 some miles into the car. Will advise if anything happens or seems different.
