Question Airscarf ?

Question; I live in Florida so the heated seats aren't something I'm looking for, but I do have a question about the airscarf. Does it blow only heat or can you get it to blow A/C air in the summer also? Might be nice when sitting in traffic.

Heat only, it's a must have option around here, I used it every morning and on cold nights.

Although I live in the Seattle area, and clearly need the Airscarf, I have lived in Southern California, with a convertible, and would loved to have had it there. I have never lived in Florida, but I cannot believe that there are not occasional cool, clear evenings when you would just love to have the top down. Airscarf, and the rear windscreen, really makes the experience comfortable.

In fact, with Airscarf, the rear windscreen, and the side windows up, I drive around with the top down when it is 25 degrees here. (That's Fahrenheit!)

I know that even if I lived in a generally warm environement, my wife would always be more comfortable with the Airscarf. It is well worth the investment, and is actually one of the very unique things about the SLK, as compared to other convertibles.

I also live in Florida and we have a convertable mini and on those cool fall, winter and spring mornings where it is anything less than 60 degrees, some warm air around the neck and shoulders would certainly be nice. Bottom line, I am thinking of getting an SLK in the next year or so and will certainly get the airscarf even if I do live in Florida.

Get it. You'll be happy you did. Plus, it will definitely help at resale time. Anyone who knows anything about the SLK171 will be expecting it to be in the car. It was widely publicized.

It would have been nice but I find lowering the window helps.

No A/C through the Air Scarf because it isn't connected to the cars heating/AC system. The Air Scarf has its own heater and fan built into the seat backs.
