Uneven tire wear after lowered

Have any of you guys with lowered cars experienced uneven tire wear? I was reading on another forum were one guy has tire wear issues on the inside of his front tires after lowering his vehicle. If so, how can this issue be resolved? I have ordered HR springs and installing them soon so if there are any issues/work arounds please let me know. TIA

Did you have a wheel alignment after you lowered the car initially?

If not then that is you're most likely cause. Lowering it changes the camber and toe which can increase tyre wear

Correct, get an alignment first then try checking your tire pressure.

Read this thread, it may help

Thanks and just an fyi... I just spoke with my dealership and I was informed that any part that goes bad or is in question that touches an aftermarket part will void the warranty for that part. For a 1.2 inch drop on a car with an extended warranty and only 16k miles, I am too affraid to touch this!

Take it to an alignment place, you don't want to get bend over for an alignment at the dealer anyway, I paid $44 to get it alignment, it was off a tiny bit after lowering but that could be enough the wear your tires. My dealer is cool with aftermarket parts, they are an authorized aftermaket dealer themselves so they know that the springs isn't going to cause engine problems for example.

I suggest a Hunter Alligment as they are the best for the SLK.

If you're doing an aftermarket drop, you don't need to go to the dealer. The alignment shop should know to eliminate toe in/toe out, adjust caster, adjust camber (perhaps a little negative in the fronts). That is the same with every car. I don't understand what's so special?
