Will SLK 350 have 306hp motor?
Just seen in other thread that new SLK will gain a lot power. It could be cool, so I put 09 SLK 350 in my shopping list..

We should know next month when it is shown at Franfurt, if they don't wait till L.A. or Detroit, but I'm thinking Franfurt since the SLK is due for a facelift.

That sucks for us 2005-2008 SLK350 owners.
Time for Supersprint headers + ECU. 268bhp -> 315bhp (our 268 is actually underrated since people dyno our stock engines at ~282bhp). 15-20hp gain from the headers, and another 15hp or so from the ECU. That should bring our 0-60 times down to about 5.0.

But it's probably slower, I don't mind 306bhp, but would like to see it 200lbs lighter. That would be ideal for performance.
