Here's a current poll on age from another forum. I'm in the top tier, 57.

Thanks Don, thats a great poll and its very useful wait till MB marketing team get the hang of that to direct their advertisements and promotions to a specific segment in the market place.

I am 29 and knocking on the door of 30 in 3 months time.

Yes, interesting poll. A plurality at 35 to 44. We are in the top tier. My wife is 55 and I'm 64.

Although I'm not an owner, I had the pleasure of driving a SLK350 on Sunday. It was a beautiful 6 speed owned by a very nice gentlemen SLKRoy who while my car was getting worked on was nice enough to give me a ride home. Now I know how lucky you guys are in driving the cars that you do. Very smooth power and incredible handling, the brakes very responsive and the suspension really plants the car to the road on turns. Very very nice car. By the way I'm 35.

I'll be 60 Friday. We've had a very snowy winter so I haven't driven my SLK in several months. Spring can't come soon enough for me.

I am 50. Don't let a little cold and snow bother you. As long as the road is mostly dry, get out and enjoy your SLK.

We've been having a particularly difficult winter this year. We've had more than the normal amount of snow and the temperatures have been right around freezing for long periods. The results is that the pavement is in quite bad condition with a great many pot holes. Even if the streets are dry I'm not about to risk wheel and tire damage until the holes are filled by the local road crews. We also have huge amounts of road salt to deal with. I can't bear to subject my SLK to these conditions.

Same here, it's been dry and weather's been nice but a lot of salt, sand, and gravel on the roads, so I'm leaving her in the garage.

Same here.
As long as the road is dry, I drive it.
I am taking good care of my cars, but I don't baby them. The car made to be driven. I paid for it, and I am going to enjoy.

This has been the worst winter in memory in Chicago. Worse than '79. The potholes are huge and have been tearing up suspensions. No sense in destroying my SLK. She sleeps for a few more weeks ( OK, at least until her oil change in mid-March ). I do not want to baby the car but if you are in Chicago you have a totally different opinion when you already have had close to 60" of snow this season.
