You might want to check with Dan on this one, you might not be able to start the engine w/o the key with the SLK.

That would be one great accomplishment. Many have said the key is necessary to turn on the ECU and to crack the key code is difficult.
Key-less go is nice but remote starting is the bomb. Keep us posted if you do it

I Sure Will.. I Went And Visit This Local Place Here In Los Angeles.. But Of Course, They All Say "it Can Be Done".. So When I Heard That, That's When I Started Doubting.. It'll Cost Me A Lil Over $600 And That's Why Im Tryin To Take My Time On It.. Supposively, The Remote Can Start Up The Car A Mile Away And It Will Shut It Off Once A Person Gets In There And Starts To Mess W/ The Auto W/o The Key..

Are you talking about the car starter? I am pretty sure that can't be done with newer model cars, Anti-thife ECU.
