time to change my tyres as my Dunlop SP9000s are severely worn on the inside of all four tyres.
i was looking at the GoodYear Eagle F1 GS-D3 but the sales person at a shop I called says that the tread on the front 235/40/18 is now different from the rear 265/35/18. Is this reliable information? I thought that tread was all part of the technology for a given model of tyre.
Even if the information is true, is the salesperson's claim that it's not safe to have different type tyres in the rear and front a valid one?
