hi! question about SLK350

my wife just gave me a "OK" to buy a convertible car...even though we just bought '07 S550.

i better buy it quick before she changes her mind. now i'm looking at '07 SLK350 convertible, with 9K miles, leather seats - for $30K. is that a good price? if not, what should i offer?

pics attached.

Are you happy with all the options and everything? Considering the year and miles that probably isn't too bad a deal, but keep researching, to make sure you get what you want.

as for the options, its pretty much standard, nothing facy. no GPS, no bluetooth. what options can the car have or possibly have in the SLK350 series?

Well, a lot of people like heating package with heated seats and the MB roadster trademark (at least to me) air scarf, where it puts hot air around your neck, to keep you more comfortable when the top is down in cooler weather. Obviously, there are packages with memory seats/steering column, rain sensing wipers, upgraded sound system, sport package, etc. There is also lighting package.

There are lots of different packages it could have had for that year. None came with bluetooth standard I don't think for that year (first came standard in 2009). For that year, I think you have to buy several components that add up to $1000+ and have installed.

You may only want to purchase, but there are also amazing lease deals right now. A 2009 350 car like mine I was able to get for less than 550 per month for 4 years with only up front fees paid. Something to think about. The car price had about 9k taken off.

From the third photo, it appears that the car does not have the air scarf option, something that I consider a "must" option.

Yeah - also note that it's missing Xenon headlights - second on my "must have" list behind airscarf!

SLK 350
I will pass this one due to the airscarf.
heated seat would also be a must have if you like the top down at chill weather. sport package makes the car looks little bigger for some reason (side by side compared), but it's nice to have for long term resale value.
There are so many out there you can pick now.
Just FYI, manual is also little fast than auto for some reason??

other than that, for the 7k, the engine has not even been broken in.
