Those don't actually look 'to bad'! The rears are certainly flaired out and from what I can tell there are smaller flaps on the front.
I have been considering this for my 2008 SLK55 and I cannot remember for sure if I saw these in the M-B accessories catalog or the Performance Parts catalog the local Dealership was showing me at the parts counter while I was trying to get them to stop giving me a 'by my VIN' answer and instead a 'by the year model' answer as I thin the wood stearing wheel and interor trim pieces would look nice on the tan interior and firemist exterior.
So, back to the flaps in the photo.
Where were they sourced, how are they mounted and can they be removed (if needed) with no (or is bsolutely necessary very little) residual damage?
I had to add a front license plate bracket and the local 'jobber' that the Dealership send me to was able to color match exactly so the over-the-counter Dealership generic black plastic didn't clash with the frontend. I'll assume that he can do as good a job on flaps.
So, any sourcing, installation etc detalis are appreciated.
