There are some new colors available on the SLK as well!
345 - Orion Blue
359 - Capri Blue
590 - Mars Red
762 - Diamond Silver
775 - Iridium Silver
816 - Everest Green
950 - Caspian Blue
Now, some of these colors are currently available now, but not in the R170. So, technically they are new for this body style!!

Many thanks for listing these options. Can you provide insight to the following if you have it?
1) List price for SLK350
2) List price for the various listed options
3) Can you gauge whether there is a long order list for the SLK?
I am interested in the SLK and like to gauge the price range for the SLK when it comes out as well as whether dealers are willing to negotiate on pricing.
Many thanks in advance

Thanks for the great info.
Do you also have a list of the standard features? For example, do you need package 317 to get a power driver's seat, or does the SLK350 come with (for example) a 4-way power seat and the 317 option bumps it up to an 8-way seat?

GearHead,
The official US Pricing has not be released yet & neither has that for the options. As far as waiting list on the car, it will vary from dealer to dealer. Here at the House, the list is not too long, I would say about 30 orders as of now. Also, I would not count on any dealers discounts for the first 6 months to a year!!
mbslk350,
I have not seen that info. as of yet, but will do some investigating to find out what the deal is!!

Many thanks for the update. Laws of supply and demand will always prevail.
As for pricing, when you have the pricing, if you don't mind, please post them.
For some of us without deep pockets for fun stuff, it means we have to save for it. Like to be prepared how much to put aside for this ... my midlife crisis gift ...
Thanks again

MarcusBenz: Any info about pricing? Are you taking pre-orders yet?
I read on a previous post that you can sell MBs to people around the country. Will this be possible with this new baby?
Thanks a bunch !

Angel,
So far, still no word on pricing, but should not be much longer! As for deposits, I can help you with that no matter where you live. My store requires a $1000, fully refundable, deposit & you can build the car to your exact specifications. If you would like to pursue this further, please feel free to contact me directly!!

My interpretation is that 320 has Navigation but 420 does not. Both have the COMAND headunit but 420 uses it only for the audio system.
Other threads have mentioned that both options allow you to play DVDs while parked.

Yeah, I saw that but thought it related to US delivery. My local dealer has said the same thing about US delivery, but hasn't heard anything yet regarding ED.

You are probably on top of this but I was wondering whether you had received any news on MBUSA releasing the pricing for the '05 SLK?
Also, based upon your previous posting on color options, it appears that Pewter is not available for 2005 SLK. Any truth to that?
Thanks in advance
