Shift Lock On Car

Went for a test drive today on the west side highway...
Great Car.. Great Sound !
But (2) Problems ...
#1 - The interior looks and feels kinda rubbery... or should I say robbery
#2 - When I was driving (Automatic) I was playing around with the shift lever.. Next thing you know... I hear the engine roar ( I was actually putting the car on lower gear).... Do you know if we can put a lock.. so that it stays on the "D"(DRIVE) the whole time ?

Thanks!

Interior is nice, but everyone has their own opinion. You are retarded though, every automatic mercedes benz comes with touchshift. SO WHEN YOU HIT IT DOWN GEAR THEN IT WILL GO DOWN. TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM DON'T HIT IT. THERE ARE NO LOCKS, CAUSE THEN THERE IS NO POINT FOR TOUCHSHIFT. PLUS YOU HAVE TO BE REALLY FAT OR JUST REALLY RETARDED TO HIT THE GEAR DOWN. AND THE ENGINE WILL ROAR CAUSE YOU ARE GOING DOWN A GEAR WHEN YOU ARE TO HIGH IN ANOTHER GEAR. TO SWITCH GEARS PERFECTLY, YOU HAVE TO COME TO A CERTAIN SPEED LIMIT SO IT WILL NOT MAKE SUCH A LOUD ROAR, BUT IT WILL STILL MAKE A ROAR.

NO THERE IS NO LOCK, THAT IS THE STUPIDEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD.

I don't think we need to react to a simple question with name calling. This forum has sure gone down the sewer lately.

Please ignore the previous post.
There is no shift lock on any Mercedes Benz transmissions so you'll have to drive with care. I recommend the amg sport package so you get the steering whell shift buttons.
Cheers.
