Can some one help me decide which one I should get: 2005 SLK 350 or 2005 Hummer H2. Tell me which is better in what ways and which is not better in other ways. And I know that they are different cars so I don;t need anybody to tell me that one is a sports car and the other is a suv.

 

duh..... if you asked us to choose between a boxter S and the 350 its still understandable... a Hummer and an SLK??? duh???? i believe you can make the decision yourself since you already know that "i know one is a roadster and the other is an SUV".

 

As I recall, you are around 17 years old. That doesn't make you a bad driver, just an inexperienced one. You've also displayed some immaturity on this board with some of your name-calling and sarcastic answers to legitimate questions.

A young, immature driver is more likely to hurt someone on the road with a big, heavy, tall Hummer than a small, light, short SLK. For the sake of the innocent motorists in your path, get the SLK. Better yet, get a Kia so you're less likely to hurt anyone at all.

H2 is a joke. People that drive H2s have some kind of self image problem.
They have to have it because it is bigger and bla bla bla. I noticved who drives H2s and SUVs.
1. Little short guys
2. wifes of the above
3. People with too much money
4. A##holes who speed and don't care if they hit somebody.

It doesn't drive well, it is hard to get inside, uses tooooo much fuel -the reason for high gas prices - too many SUVs which are never driven off-road, doesn't stop etc.

I just saw one H2 with trailer driving way too fast 70-85mpg and tailgating.

If you want a car with space get a wagon with diesel engine - like normal people.

i just got rid of my 04 e500..one cuz im bored with it and im only 21,for the time being..i got a fully loaded top of the line tahoe for dirt cheap couldnt pass up the offer,i just dont know what i want

I think the thread makes sense. Both car are imaginable and tell much about an owner. So driving either won't be a mistake. Personally I would never buy H2, unless it was equipped with automatic guns and missile launchers. Regarding SLK still didn't decide.

 

Hummer is a low cost pile of junk. With no safety and no sophistication. Rent one and see for yourself.
