Performance of the slk 200 kompressor
Hi,
What kind of perfomance should I expect in a slk 200 kompressor ? I know I shouldn´t expect a sport car performance, but how would it compare to a BMW 325i, or an Audi A3 1.8T, for example ?
Thanks !
Rafael

Hard for me to compare, but I felt it very responsive and zippy, really. I mean, especially for city traffic and the occasional autobahn, it's quite nice. I felt that accelleration on the Autobahn really slowed down, but in the lower km/h, it's quick to go !
With full accelleration I got about 220 on a fairly level road max, give or take a few.

I answered this in a previous thread; 0-62 km/hr in 7.9 for the manual; 8.2 for the auto according to MB's UK site. Those numbers (or at least the automatic's) aren't too much different than what you'll get with a 325 or a a3 1.8t, I believe (with the 2.0T FSI, all bets are off, though)
