Another leaking SLK!!

Hi all, will fill in some details about me soon. I have the world wide problem this end with an R171 2006 SLK 350, extreme low miles at 40K and extreme showroom condition, apart from both the seats getting flooded!!

The vario roof is letting go all over, the worst parts are flooding my seats, and I mean flooding them, not drips, but a pool of water in a matter of hours, as you know we now get floods daily so severe and torrential.
I suspect just a case of buying new door window rubbers and fitting them.

My question is this, how hard or easy are they so actually fit?
Are there any vids or pics from others who will have had to do this already?

Also, I have dial up phone connection on a PC, no mobile or mobile service, so am not connected with any devices glued to my ear or hand, so may be slow on getting back to others.

I have a 2001 SLK320. Hard top convertible. The whole reason I bought it was to minimize the possibility of leaking from weathering, or tampering/vandalism.
It leaks at the driver side window in the top forward corner. It’s more of a nuisance than anything. I don’t know if that is a good data point for you, but I tried.

I just became a fanatic on this post, with a 30% like rating. It’s all downhill from here! I wasn’t at all satisfied with being a super member anyway.

Sorry, I need this back to factory fresh as no leaks allowed as the seats will be ruined in days at this rate and also the inner door and all electrics. This is serious amounts of rain up in the mountains where I have flooding rain most days.

I and a garage have actually checked the complete roof alignment etc, all 100% perfect, so only the rubbers have gone.
so, anyone done a rubber replacement on one of these before?
I suspect the rubbers will not be cheap, but better than replacing the car's interior.

This car has spent its life in a a garage and out at weekends in summer, and now it is outside with me, I need it fixed ASAP.
If need be, I will just take it to mercedes and let them rip me off, as the car is too good to be ruined with water inside.
It is £190 an hour my end, so this will be about £1,000 easy for them, and probably more.
The boot also leaks, the windows both sides leak, so I am not impressed with this design what-so-ever.
Over-rated rubbish for the worlds weather, and only fit to live in hot countries with no or little rain unfortunately.
