hi, i have a question. for the rear big brakes kit, you use slk55 amg?? because i have problem to install the rear slk55 amg brakes to my slk350. thx

sweet ride! i'm envious of the new sport edition look. the front kinda reminds me of the carlsson kit. is it only the 2009 SLK350 that has the red engine cover thingy?

That is correct Sir. The Sport Motor 3.5 V6 gets that cover. I don't think it's that important though, it almost looks better black and silver I think.

My mom is getting a 2007 slk350...when was the sport option available? I love the AMG style front bumper, but this one is pretty nice too in black.

Just picked up this 2006 SLK350 with my brother. He traded in his B200 and finally got one of his dream cars haha.

I've got a 2010 GLK350 coming in for myself, never driven a hard top convertible before. I'm surprised the steering on the SLK350 is so heavy! But I'm really happy we have a little roadster to whip around in, still a great attention getter

I am a new member on this post today and have just finished reading all the posts. This seems to be a great forum with a lot of great pictures and helpful information... I have some questions though,

1) is there a website with all the excellent accessories I just saw on some of your beautiful SLK's? I am looking to purchase such things as a wooden dash kits, gearshift knobs (wooden or carbonfiber), wooden steering wheel, wooden hand break leaver, the screen that fits on the front lower spoiler and last but not least rear spoilers..

Looks an awful lot like an SLK55 to me . Someone must have put in a lot of work and $$ to do that. The only difference I notice is the hood vents. Nice car!

Hello guys.

I'm new to the forum and wanted to share my recent purchase.

Its a 2010 slk 300 - iridium silver. Comes with a full AMG body kit/wheels/ seats as standard.

Extras

11 speaker harmon kardon sound system
air scarf heating
bi xenon lights
electric folding mirrors

Initially thought about adding and AMG badge but really its not an AMG engine so ill give it a miss

My SLK 55 AMG is extremely fun to drive. A few months ago I drove it on a 2,000 mile road trip from Los Angeles up to Washington State and back. The trip was flawless. Now, my SLK 55 is not as comfortable as my SL55 on long road trips, but it can definitely hold it's own. I drove it very hard to include through rain storms and a few inches of snow and the handling was spot on. The brakes on the 030 Performance Package are amazing and very responsive which makes me feel very safe driving at high speeds in thick traffic. The power to weight ratio makes the SLK 55 one of the easiest and most enjoyable cars I have ever driven.

Hey Doc, I would suggest DCT Motor Sports for mainly the interior and some exterior mods and Vivid Racing or GMP Performance for all other mods.
