I spotted a silver SLK350 in Toronto with AMG badges and license plate SMOOTH55. Someone here? Are AMG badges now part of the AMG package?

Anyways it was funny seeing a BMW 3-series slow down in the middle of traffic to take a look while causing cars behind to slam their brakes.

I had the plate before I got this car and it has no relation with the engine.

In some weird countries the AMG badge comes with the AMG kit.

Ricky is right. When I visited the Mercedes Dealer in Vancouver several years ago all of the SL500's with the AMG styling kit option had AMG badges on their rear decks. If I recall correctly they came that way and were not added by the dealer.

It's a damn ripoff but the car looks so much more agressive, I feel it really completes the car.

Yeah, the sports suspension comes with the AMG Package.

I know in the US and some other countries you can opt for just the sports suspension.
