Engine Tuning in SLK
R171.co.uk offers a tuning for 200K, they make the car 215hp and 310NM torque by modifying the kompressor. Did anyone do that? Is it a healthy progress for engine? And has it got any damages to engine? and finally do you suggest it me to do Thanks.

I had a pulley upgrade on my 230K.
The 2.3 liter engine was very tough, the pulley upgrade would most likely never break it.
Having said that, we don't know yet how strong the 1.8 liter engine is. If you do the mod, I'm pretty sure you'll get at least 50k miles worth out of it, if not for a lifetime, but depending on how expensive such a mod is, you might be better off getting a 350 to replace the 200.
If you can get over 200hp from the engine, do it, but make sure you don't end up paying more then $2000 for it. Any more and it's a rip off.
