SLK 350 Aftermarket Companies
I'm very new to the world of MB's, recently coming from owning all Japanese made cars, Infiniti to be exact. I'm very familiar with aftermarket companies for Japanese cars, but have no clue to who is reputable and who are knock offs in the world of European automobiles. Please enlighten me on a few reputable suppliers of wheels, suspension and aero kits. I've heard alot about Carlsson and Brabus, any thoughts on these two companies?

don't forget kleemann as well
http://www.r171.info/index-4.html
is the only site with a "number" to show the upgrade improvements, but can't say if it exists or not, since all they show is just "numbers" and there is no further information on who makes the kit
we'll just have to wait for all the aftermarket companies to come out with a product first...

the SLK by Carlsson has won the most important press awards in 2004, such as "Sport Auto", "Autobild Test & Tuning" etc., so from my point of view Carlsson has the most reputable tuning range for R 171. Please check following link:

I have attached some more nice pics for your attention. By the way, aerokirs for R171 are available in Europe since about 2 months, so I presume they should be available in the States now, too.
Best regards

Nice Kit,
I think the rear spoiler is a little too agressive for my tastes. I actually think the Carlsson Kit with a Brabus Spoiler would look killer.
