SLK/R172: Will there be a manual transmission?

2014 Black SLK 55 AMG, Black 2015 GL 550, 2011 Blue GLK 350
Will there be a manual transmission?
I saw one article saying the 2012 SLK will have a manual in the US but MBUSA website doesn't show anything but auto. A bit disappointing for those of us who still prefer to shift when we want to. Anyone hear anything?

The 230 will be offered with a stick in US and Canada.

MBZ SLK
I believe you can still get it on the lowest model. SLK250 or is it SLK300. The SLK350 no longer has manual as an option.
