I was told my build date is May 10th and I should expect my car sometime in early July (I'm on the West Coast).

I ordered my SLK55 on 1/31/05 in Sacramento, CA. It arrived at the dealer on 4/22/05.

Ordered ours on 12/30/04. Got built on 4/20/05 and it's now on a boat. Sales manager told me it would be at the dealer in 3 weeks.

I just cancelled my order for a 2005 and replaced it with an order for a 2006. I think you just got our 2005 slot. We had a build date of first ten days of May. I don't have a new build date for the 06 model as of yet. Hopefully it will be soon.

Did your dealer give you any idea on when the new build spot would be for model year 2006? When I asked my dealer about 2006 models, he said for the SLK 55, it would be September or October with delivery late November early December. Also, did they mention what the changes would be and/or price increase?

Apparently, the 2006 SLK350's are being built first half of June. So, the dealer is expecting that the SLK55 will be out the second half of June. He said that we are the first in line for a 2006 model. He doesn't yet have new price or new options for 06 models. As soon as I know, I will post the info.

My SLK55 is being built in the second decade of June, and Mercedes-Benz have confirmed that it will be 06 model year.

i just signed the contract and conftirmed the poduction month is coming july. And the dealer said my 55 will be arrive in coming september 2005.
