Cost for modifying the specs from US to CAN
Seems like the lineup for US is much shorter (2-3 months) vs Canada (one year). I'm wondering if I purchase one in US and bring it back would I have ta spend huge $ to modify emissions and stuff. Anyone has done/doing this for SLK55?

The only mods will be the speedometer and instrument cluster. I don't even know if they are mandatory. Duties is another expense you would have to pay. i don't know what they are in canada but I think it is 6% for importing things into the us. Call the canadian dot, they should have a list of things needed to be done. The cars are identical other than the instrument cluster.
