HI Everybody,

Last night I went to the dealership in Dallas to check on my order. I am second on the list for 2006 slk55 and they showed me that the first build date for 06 model was in June so mine must be in July (I HOPE). They also have a brand new slk55 2005 Black on black and fully loaded and selling for MSRP. If anybody intrested tell me.

Congrats on your order. Did you dealer give you any details as to what changes if any there would be on your 2006? Also, any mention of any price increase?

They are still waiting for the changes if any. But they might be an increase of 1% but the are not sure yet. I will keep you posted when I found out.

i hear new changes include body colored antenna, and the drop of orion blue and everest green , along with the drop of the blue interior (from the slk350) im not sure of the other small tidbits, im sorry i can not find the link where i saw this

In Canada (at least) they are dropping Firemist Red Metallic and replacing it with a new Storm Red Metallic.
No idea what it looks like and the dealerships do not have the color swatch for it yet.

I am actually the first in line for a 2006 model to be built in June. Our dealer is also in Dallas. He doesn't have the new option list or prices yet for 2006.
