CAR AND DRIVER GOT A 0 TO 60 MPH IN 4.3 Seconds WITH THE SLK 55 AMG. I put the article in a yahoo album. Go ahead and download the slides so you can zoom up on them and read it. I was trying to put the article on mbworld.org, but they are picky about the size (800 X 600, if it is jpeg has to be under 2.14 mbs). I really wanted to put the article in its orginal size, but mbworld.org is slacking behind on improvements.
((((The article also talks about the C6 Corvette. They mention that the vette gets a 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds with a 1/4 mile of 12.6, but that vette had a 6 speed manual, imagine if it had the 4 speed automatic, the SLK 55 AMG would then rip it.))))
Here is the link to the SLK 55 AMG, 0 to 60 mph = 4.3 seconds, 1/4 mile = 12.7 seconds, 0 to 150 mph = 28 seconds. If you don't want to read the whole article, just look at the first slide. It is the cover page, which shows the SLK 55 AMG and the 0 to 60 mph 4.3 seconds under it.

wow! i knew the car was very fast...but this...4.3secs!! are you kidding me!?! now i can hardly wait to hear what all the boxter s guys are going to say.
i am just lovin' my ride more and more!! finally we are getting some reviews which are judging the car for what is really is.

I got Pirelli P-zero Rosso , now they look like slick racing tires

0-60 in 4.3 is fantastic but you have to remember that this is not an indication that the car is much quicker than MBs own figures....... the MB figures of 4.9sec is for 0-62mph so 0-60 is always going to be quicker...... its often surprising how much extra time is needed for that extra 2mph.
