This perplexes me: the SLK55 motor has a specific output of 65.3 hp/l. But the new Chevy pushrod 2-valve (I think just two) motor, 400 hp from 6.0l, has a specific output of 66.7 hp/l. Both motors make peak torque at 4,000 rpm. What gives?

it's all about the gear ratio's

horse power is nothing with out gears
