SLK55 Lease

I was wondering if any SLK55 drivers here leased their cars. If so, I was hoping you would share your monthly payment with us and their lease terms. Thanks!

It's really not worth leasing such an expensive car. I originally leased my 55 for $400/month after a $30000 downpayment, but it was only because I was going to finance it afterwards and they had given me a low residual value at the end of the term: $30000. But, when the lease wasn't approved through US Bank, the residual shot up to $40000, making it not worthwhile to lease. So, I decided to finance it.

Basically, if the residual was $30000, there would've been only a $2000 difference between leasing and then financing as opposed to financing from the get go. But with the residual being $10000 higher, it was better to finance it. Finance payments are much higher, though. I'm paying about $800/month after putting down $30000 from trade-in + cash.

Trust me, don't lease it. You get nothing back for leasing it after the 3-5 years.

you can put down whatever you want. but, why would you want to put down a huge chunk if you're leasing (assuming you are not going to keep the car).

Ummm.

Maybe you need to put down that much to keep the monthly payments low?
