Current Gear?
The short answer to this question may just be "RTFM", but...

Is there way to display the current gear when in "S" or "C" mode? I just want to see what the auto-tranny is doing.

Not that I know of. But if you have the AMG, you can also switch it to M mode, and if you do this, it will display the current gear for you.
