Talking Suede Interior Roof, Red Calipers - PICS!

Thanks to Sinister Customs in Orlando
They also enlarged my ///AMG logos on the calipers

Very nice. I think suede is hard to truly appreciate unless you can touch/feel it. Did you do anything besides the top?

Just got the badges done.
My rear lights and front markers are also smoked.

dsb, I have lots of things on my mind that I would like Sinister Customs to do, but will think them through. I really wanted to do the handbrake (the black part) in suede, but it's impossible to get that little piece off.

I also made myself a logo with my initials that will go on the headrest.

Among other things, you all will just have to wait.

I would have done this a LONG time ago, but just recently decided this car would be a keeper.

Ahh, a "wet" SLK55!....And that dirty engine bay!

I'm kidding. I like the red calipers. I painted them on my RX-7, der Kleemann machine's calipers are next! (the blower install, etc. was supposed to be done this week but Kleemann sent the wrong oil return lines & LSD. Arrgh, another week ).

Dinko, I like the suede too. Pretty nice.

Cheers,
-Matt

I just wanted to be unique, and stand-out from others. The red calipers are for the sport and aggressive stance -- and in person, it really brings out the size of the brakes. Also getting ready for the HRE's, the Black wheels with the red calipers should compliment very well together.

Why black logo's? To flow with the black wheels that are coming in a little over a week.

Nah, stock. I only had the rear lights (left & right) smoked very slightly. I didn't want to go for the full smoked out look, but rather for a simple "stand out" kind of way. But to again answer your question, the middle was just left as-is.

Thanks J-man! Sorry but everything is not complete yet. I've got a few more tweaking to do with the engine. And i'm waiting for a part from Denmark. Once i have everything i'll try and post pic.

Oh and another reason...you very well know i can't go up against the messiah! :p

I was able to take it off. It has a clip on the front, and another few on the side. On the rear, it's glued on, that's why you might find it impossible to take off.

But if you pull at it hard enough from the rear, it will eventually pop off when the glue gives in.
