Oil Level?
I seem to recall reading on a forum that the SLK 55 could report its oil level to the nearest 10th of a quart (or liter). But all it tells me is that the oil level is "OK". Is there any way to get an actual quantity from the sensor?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Turn ignition on (car NOT running).
Have digital display showing the Odometer display.
Hit the Reset button (small black button on the left side of the Speedometer gauge), THREE times in a row.
Digital Display will change to showing Voltage on the battery.
Hit up arrow a couple of times to get to the Oil measurement, and wait.
After that you can even start the engine and watch the level drop some as the oil is pumped up into the engine.
Be aware there are other functions in this mode (at least one of which will reset your time to service reminder). So be careful. Also how the up/down arrows and the page up/down controls the functions does NOT seem real intuitive (to me).
P.S. After writing this, I'm thinking perhaps you start in ACC mode, then swith to On (still car not started) after getting to the Oil Measurement display. Not sure. Again search the forums.
