Chips?!: Powerchip,Unichip, Renntech, kleemann?!
So many choices with a huge variance in prices and claimed hp gains. As i have posted b4, i lease all my cars and don't want to SC this one but would like to do upgrades that can be reversed if necessary. Some obvious items would be green filter(ordered), evo underdrive pulleys(in the process of setting up an appointment) and an ECU upgrade.

So my ? is which is the best ECU/Chip? In reading about the Unichip this looks very similar to the power commander use don bikes. I like the idea of a custom dyno tuned map. Thoughts???

To be honest, I've heard of Powerchip, RENNtech and KLEEMANN, but never Unichip...

Come on man, spend the extra few bucks. Wether it's Renntech or Kleemann! My choice is not bias to Kleemann, but rather to Kleemann/Renntech together. Personally, I went with the cheaper out of those two. But when you're talking about something REALLy cheap, where does the tuning really come from?

There are ZERO chips for bikes but what is used is a power commander ( http://www.powercommander.com/ ) which allows for custom dyno mapping or the timing and A/F mixture. Seems te unichip is the exact same thing...

Was just messing with ya! Im leaning towards Kleemann given the great respnses they have given to me in response to emails and their reputation. I do like that Powerchip claims +18hp/+18ftlbs compared to kleemanns 10-12hp/10-12ftlbs. BUT powerchip is not CARB approved...does anyone know if kleemann is?
