Just picked up a new SLK55 SIlver, black interior with every option except the 6 disk cd changer.

Sort of dissapointed that you can't add one at the dealership ... but it has ipod so no problems.

I love the 030 package on this car! The car handles superbly and the brakes are fantastic. I'd get this package just for the brakes! I think the 6800 charge for this option is actually very cheap considering all you get. The seven speed transmission is amazing. Downshifts and upshifts are very smooth and extremely quick.

Now all I need to do is get a test drive in one of those bay area kleeman SLK55's and I"ll decide if I should get the car converted.

I have a question. Does 320 entertaiment package have 6 disk cd changer ?
My sales man told me it has a 6disk cd changer so I did not order it. I just ordered 320.

Well, I ordered the 320, and it showed up without the 6 disk changer. My sales guy also said the changer was included...but a careful reading of the M B website suggests otherwise.

No big deal for me, as I only listen to one disk at a time anyway, it would eat glove box space, and I'm having the iPod kit installed right now anyway.

i thought the 030 option is only amg rims, suspension ... never heard anything about breaks?!

just got error message that the pics I took with my camera phone are a higher resolution than excepted.

Any way to force my pictures into the 800x600 format?(or whatever the max is here).

Open up your pic with any photoshop or MS photo editor (free for most Microsoft OS). Change the size of the photo to 800x600 then save it under photo_small.jpg so you don't lose your hi-res ones. Attach it, that should work, delete it afterwards if you don't want it. That was a quick and simple explanation, hope that helps.

Thanks for the assistance ... its now within Microsoft Office and its called picture manager.

I've tried to take a couple photos of the Rotors and Calipers for those that want to see a difference between 030 and non. In real life it really does look a lot bigger. There barely is any space between the caliper and the rims and the rotor almost takes up all the space inside the rim.

This includes one of the steering wheel which is also different with the 030 package.
