it's ok to assume so: my first SLK55's transmission which I had modded. my dealership replaced that SLK55 with the black one I currently own. I certainly want to mod it =) It might seem weird that I keep changing my mind, it's just that I can't figure out if I should save the $3,600 for Kleemann headers and put it towards my supercharger fund, u know? I probably considered the E55 cuz it's already supercharged and I could easily trade mine in for a nice E55, only problem: My parents would kill me

I just had to bring this up as you were thinking of trading your slk55 for a e55 after a couple months of ownership......there is nothing wrong with being impulsive.....life is too short to own something you are not 110% satisfied with.

well wow... i don't know if the SLK will be worth enough to actually trade it in for an E55... Over this winterbreak, i'm gonna do do the little mods that I had before, it hurts my wallet, but hey! it's good for something
