So cool, I want one! haha but you will lose retractable hard top though.
One thing I don't understand is with only slight modifications. Why is it not street legal!?!?

Is this the start of lightweight AMG trackcar versions of the roadgoing models? If so...yee haw!

 

you remove everything from the car and you sell it for a higher price... that's what I call business

 

they are planning a street version and it will be going on sale this summer in Europe! Sure hope it makes it to the States

Looks like the same car to me.

 

Its different, just saw these Asia experience cars on display and they have carbon fibre roofs, and a fuel cell in the boot among other things. They are not road legal probably because there are no mufflers on the car, just straight through pipes! The sound on these cars is stunning, something like a modified Gallardo. Maybe even louder. I heard this car start up together with a CLK DTM and the CLK sounds like a luxury sedan compared to it.

I had cats and resonator removed and did straight pipes. The car is freaking freaking loud.... I love the noise... just that it has too much droning noises ...constant low humming and rattling
I could feel little gain in power and this also save almost 10 kilos on cats and resonator.
Doing some trial and error here.. going back to get "X-pipe" on next week. If still can't get the noise I want.. I'm gonna go with Kleemann muffler. I just can't wait for eisenmann anymore~

 

Nope sorry, didn't get a video unfortunately. Are you using the stock mufflers? I can tell you that without the mufflers the sound really is damn freaking loud!

So the car doesn't have muffler? Did it have resonator or cats?

 

Yes I think I saw resonators and cats but it may be different from the stock one. It was hard to tell kneeling down and trying to look underneath the car! Btw, you have PM.
