We've exchanged e-mails on the C32/C55 forum, I sold my C and bought an SLK55 in February....

How effective is the windscreen in reducing air flow to the driver's head?

Blow dry effect

I like to dry my hair with the top down on my way to work. You know what I mean...? I have short hair and I like the wind-blown look. With the windscreen I have to sit up straight in order to catch the breeze. With the windscreen removed, my hair blow dries much quicker.

Yeah, I'm 6ft 1" and it just catches the top of my head in a pleasant way. Take away the windscreen and it gets real messy. If you are lucky enough to live where the air is warm and you don't have long hair, then you can do without it, otherwise, its the best money you'll spend on the car.

I'm 6'1" as well and I have the windscreen. I have a buzz cut all around my head and the wind that hits the top gets rather annoying as it makes my head itchy from the constant draft.
