Resale Value
So I was just randomly checking the resale value of our cars vs an M3, and apparently the M3 holds its value better. The M3 is cheaper but the resale value is about $2k different from the SLK 55 for a 2005 model.

When the E90-based M3 comes out, the older M3's resale value might not look quite as hot anymore.

personally, i think that the reason is that the old SLK wasnt all that hot.... our cars has only been out for almost 2 years..
