SL 6.1 Brabus, E55, SLK55
Thats one great looking car! I have to admit this is the first time, I see the Kleemann lip on a black SLK and it definitely looks better than mine.
Also Brabus monoblock IV does look really good on the car but I personally would not want to do Brabus, Kleemann and AMG on the same car.
I have to admit seeing this make me miss my slk 55.

Dan, I've been travelling & working too much lately (on weekends....my company has let some people go & guess who gets their work ). I'm also getting come coilovers for the RX-7 (and battery relocation along with a race legal battery box that must be handcrafted so it fits in the rear seat bin) so Kathryn & I can track both cars. I'm guessing I'll track the cars this Spring after all my car mods are done & track ready.
See ya,

BTW, I just got a helmet cam connected to my front tow hook. I got the idea from Easty. I shot some footage at night but it looks like crap. Hopefully, I'll get a better day shot. If so, I'll be posting some track footage soon!

Ahh, no politics. I think Renntech is likely a better choice for $/Hp than the Kleemann options. I don't really care for one manufacturer "over" another, they each have pros/cons (including Brabus). I'm just curious how much dynojet power the Renn system develops. When it becomes avail ('ala C55 or SLK55 for example), maybe you can share Adam.
Hope you don't think I was trying to be an azz - I ain't like that (I outgrew "mine is better than yours" long ago - its just money & time. All 3 tuners make great products & it's up to each consumer to choose what is "best" for their particular needs. Soooo, I'll check out the other thread about the CF hood. See ya Adam.

thanks for the correction.
I don't know how much horses it's got, I copied and paste it from 6speedonline, I thought you guys would enjoy it. Some swedish guy owns it and the car up for sale in Sweden (got this from discipline on benzworld.org) http://www.blocket.se/vi/9056757.htm?ca=15_s

I've seen this car once in stockholm, it sounds absolutely sick. Amazing stuff, that.
Oh, also, he is asking 1,150,000 SEK (swedish crowns) for the car. Thats just under 160,000 USD. (159,447.62 with 1 USD = 7.21240 SEK from xe.net).
He claims that the car cost over 1,380,000 SEK new (thats 190kUSD), that it does 0-100k/h in 3.7 seconds and spanks most cars from Ferrari, Porsche, Maserati, etc.)

^^^^^^^^^^
75K is a good deal.
I guess that price is low because its an 05 without all the options (NAV). However, thats a great deal of performance parts!

I guess you're missing VAT, but from what I gather, you guys don't pay all too much VAT over on your side of the pond...
(comparing to the 25% that we have to dish out on everything....)

Right...since the car is in colorado springs, I figure all we need to pay is sales tax, and in NY it is 8.25% plus luxury fees.
