According to Automobile Magazine, based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, a hatchback-coupe version should be available in 2009, possibly with an SLK63 AMG variant with the new 6.2L (advertised as 6.3 by Mercedes-Benz) DOHC V8 made by AMG.

There has been a lot of talk if the SLK 63 will actually be made...so does anybody know if this is true...does anybody get the Automobile Magazine...I stopped ordering those about 4 years ago.
