i can't speak english very well....

today, i deleted resonator. (for better sound -->beast^^)

sound is very good~!

but, i'm worrying about if there are other problems(response,exhaustpressure...etc...)

someone says(in korea), if i delete resonator, i have to reset ECU (is that right?)

and there will be some loss HP,tq (so sad..)

how think about? - is there anyone who has dyno test result?

i'm not sure that deleting resonator has an effect on exhaustpressure.

i need advice.

Deleted mine 6 months ago. Did not have to reset ECU. The only thing I noticed is the great sound this engine makes!!

Any instructions, a pic if you dont mind I dont know where the resonator lies, Any gains in performance ie torque in the rpm range.

I might do this acctually.

I did mine like ages ago...
Its and rectangular looking muffler right after the 2 cats..
No regrets! Just go ahead and do it... Will only make more sounds... and its a no brainer mods cost u less than 100 bucks!

just go to a local muffler shop and tell them to replace res with stainless steel pipe. $50 should be the going rate and it takes 20 minutes. The only problem is you wont get to experience your wonderful stereo system because you will turn it off so you can listen to your exhaust note. you wont go faster, you just sound better. The resonator is like your appendix or tonsils, you can do without them.

Can anyone post a video of how it sounds, Is the resonator also called the centre muffler which is after the 2 mufflers and its in the middle ?

How does it sound good or bad ?
Does the vocal charachteristics of the AMG change ?

if its the centre muffler what we are talking about this is better and cheaper compared to the supersprint/carlsson xpipe which replaces the centre muffler and costs around $850 dollars without installation.

I'm also interested in this. anymore info about this would be great. i've see them posts with all the c32/c55 owners doing. Any down side to doing this?
