Used SLK55 prices?

What are used SLK55s going for these days? Looking at maybe an 05 or 06, depending on price. I don't want to call the dealership or I'll get nagged to death. Just thought maybe some of you had seen some and would have a good idea of thier selling price.

I've done that, but those prices listed are almost always overinflated and not what buyers in the real world are paying for them. At least informed ones anyway.

Check eBay for prices - it's really a great indicator of what cars truly go for as the majority of sellers on eBay aren't MB dealers and therefore sell the cars fairly close to cost.

My dealer in NJ has a NEW 06 on the floor list $67k he said it could be had for 60K so used ones should be much less. They are not in demand at the moment.

Yeah, that's why I'm looking. But it's hard to get really motivated for one this time of year. Spring is a different story however.

You might want to check around the colder states, eg, NY, Colorado, they have better deals then Dallas I would assume, since it's cold and snowy, convertibles, isn't in demand at all. Shipping from Denver to Dallas is less than $500 or it's only a day's drive, an easy drive, done it myself on a few occasions.

There's a 2006 SLK55 at Walter's MB in Riverside, California for $53.8K. 8,000 miles, silver on black, COMAND.

There's also a 2006 SLK55 at a private dealer in Southern Cali...Same price, only 1.9K miles, it's red with black leather, and has COMAND!

Hello, I'm new to the board.
Walters' used SLK 55 AMG is no longer available, because I bought it!
I am really enjoying the vehicle.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the sale price? Did they come any off the $53.8k list?

No, they did not reduce the price from 53,900. It is a Certified Pre-owned which definately made it more appealing and I think that price is fair. Also, they did take my trade straight across and gave an acceptable used car interest rate.

Ya, that definitely seems like a great buy considering new SLK350s cost the same or even more depending on the options.

Do you have any plans for the car? =)

No plans for mods right now. I am still enjoying the thrill of this car. My rear tires seem to be wearing awfully quick. So when it is time to replace them I may get a set of rims with the tires. I would like to find a smaller antannae. Maybe like the sl500. I'll definately get the windows tinted and I am thinking about the Clear Guard for the front end. That's about it for now. In several months I may get more in depth.
